  • A collaborative cloud for Virgin

Threefold have completed a concept design for Virgin Atlantic to fit-out of their 140,000 sq.ft headquarters in Greater London to accommodate 1500 staff.

The concept of the proposal is to reconnect departments by creating agile working zones in the middle of the plan. Set over four floors the strategy for organisation, orientation and integration involved:

• A zone that spans and connects from agile to more formal workspaces.

• A heart at the centre of the building that encourages healthy working practices and creates a new and positive working atmosphere.

• A scaleable approach that can be applied to a greater or lesser extent on individual floorplates or through the building as a whole.

A collection of components which provide spaces for a wide range of working environments have been designed and tailored to the specific requirements of all departments.
